Carla M. Hall is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo. She holds a master’s degree in Social Work with a concentration in Health, Mental Health and Disability Social Work. Not only does she hold a master’s degree, she also graduated Summa Cum Laude. She has extensive experiences in her field beginning in 2006 when she was working as a therapist for Child and Adolscent Treatment Services in Buffalo, NY. In this capacity, she worked in collaboration with the Eric County Department of Probation and You Detention Services to assist youths involved in the justice system and help their families. Follwing her stint as a therapist, she served as a school social worker for St. Coletta Special Education Public Charter School. As a social worker, she conducted group counseling sessions, supported students, teachers and families during crisis. She provided training in several subject matters such as, recognizing child abuse, and matters related to social skills in the classroom. For her work at St. Coletta, she recived a Professional Focus Award. She continued her work in Behavioral Science by supporting other programs through training and and development of school faculties to improve training for several organizations. More recently she has served as a Faculty Field Liaison at George Mason University. In this capacity, she served as a field liaison and instructor for 2nd year clinical concentration MSW students. She is currently an Adjunct Instructor at the Catholic University where she facilitates online and generalist courses for MSW students.
